Busy Busy

Sorry for the absence of a post. I do have some coming very soon. It is fair week here where I live and between work and the fair and sleep that is about all I am doing. I have some July 4th pics to share and also some more weekend thrifting from last week. Stay tuned.....It may be Sunday before I get a chance to share anything.

Weekend Thrifting finds

Okay I am going to start a new series here at Two Little Birds Crafts... I will feature my weekend thrifting finds for your viewing pleasure.

I don't always get to go thrifting but I do have fun when I go! Or I don't always find something but it is still fun. Click on pics to see them larger if you wish.

Last weekend I picked up the following:

6 vintage patterns

2 vintage pillow cases

2 cute handkerchiefs

1 old sewing book

Total Cost: $5

This weekend I had a great find I think!

I picked up LOTS of fabric for $3

and a vintage smock for 0.50

4 packages of bias tape for 0.75

The Secret Stitch Club I so wish I had a Sewing Club in my area with a bunch of wonderful women! I am a lonely person when I start talking sewing amongst my friends.

One Pretty Thing This is the ultimate website to see a bunch of tutorials daily on different topics. They are broke down my topic and there are some wonderful 4th of July tuts out there!

Farm Girl Fare This girl makes me want to give up everything and buy a farm and go back to the "Simple Ways of Living". Of course she is busier than I ever would want to be but I love her posts!

Knock-Off Wood If I didn't work I would be building tons of furniture! Ana provides loads and loads of plans for FREE for you to build knock off furniture.

I so can't wait!!

Only 5 more days until the Twilight Triple Feature!! WOOHOO.... I am going with 3 of my husbands aunts and 5 of his cousins, my sister in law and my bestie since I was 11. I am also going to take my three kiddo's, although they are unaware of that. :o)

It will be a wonderfully fun night with lots of drooling over Edward I am sure. I think my oldest daughter is the only Jacob fan in the bunch. I mean I like them both but if I had to choose it would be Edward all the way! LOL!

Some Onesies that I have made

Most are a size 3-6 months. The dress that is not a onesie is a size 6-9months or could be used as a top for a toddler. These really are so adorble in person!!
